On May 24th, 2009, my Los Angeles loft apartment was devastated by an enormous fire, in which, my humans and I lost everything we owned and loved, including my best kitty friend, Riggs.

I did the only thing I could and jumped three and a half stories to the street below where my humans’ friends found me 20 hours later hiding in a near by patio. They rushed me to the emergency room at the West Los Angeles VCA, where I was treated for severe second, third and fourth degree burns as well as a ruptured bladder. I spent several weeks in VCA’s  intensive care unit and several months recovering under the supervision of one of the most dedicated and wonderful facilities in the world.

Over those months that followed thousands of amazing animal lovers gathered together to show their support for me and for my humans. Thanks to their generosity, we raised all the money needed to help me fully recover. I have over 4,000 friends and growing on facebook and thousands more around the world.

Now I want to stay in touch with all of my fans and give back to the animal community.
